Art and fashion combine the magic of light with water in the “Blue Typhoon” installation, created by the designer Moritz Waldemeyer for Paul&Shark. The brand continues to look to the excellence of design by presenting the artwork of the eclectic artist during the Design Week 2015, with an exclusive event held in the refined spaces of the Milan showroom in via Ciovassino 3, which was inaugurated last January in the very heart of the Brera district.
The dramatic installation, which was applauded by the guests of the vernissage and is still displayed in the showroom, pays homage to the intricate effect of sea waves evoking the movement of water, the key element of the brand's DNA. However, the luminous and dynamic installation goes further and continues to look to the future, starting with the choice of its materials, by focusing on the most advanced technology. In fact, the impressive artwork consists of over 900 individual components made from polycarbonate sheets combined with LED strips. In addition, it is entirely wrapped in lenticular material to produce a dynamic vortex that illuminates the space, creating a unique atmosphere.
